THE STUDY OF USING AUTHORITY OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER KHON KAEN PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 5

Abstract
This research aimed to study: 1) using the authority of the school administrators, and 2) the comparison of using the authority of the school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 5, divided by duty positions and working experiences. The sample group comprised 337 school administrators and teachers under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 5. The research instrument was the five-rating scaled questionnaires with the reliability valued 0.99. The statistics for analyzing the data contained the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and the hypothesis testing with the independent sample by the One-Way-Analysis of variance. The research findings revealed that: 1) The school administrators’ using authority under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 5 appeared as a whole in the much level, finding the aspect of the legal authority exposing the most mean score, the latter showed the aspect of the authority from giving prizes and with the least mean implying the authority from references. 2) The comparative of the practice levels of using the authority of school administrators with different duty positions showed that the practice levels of school administrators’ using authority as a whole revealed differently at the statistical significance level of .01; and the comparison of the practice levels of school administrators’ using authority, divided by working experiences exposed that the school administrators and teachers with different working experiences had the practice levels of the school administrators’ using the authority as a whole indifferently.
