THE APPLICATION OF SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY PHILOSOPHY IN PEOPLE’S LIVES, PHING PHUAY SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, SIRATTANA DISTRICT, SISAKET PROVINCE

Abstract

This paper is aimed to study the application of self-sufficiency economy philosophy in the people’s lives in Ping Phuay Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Si Rattana District, Sisaket province. The objective is to study the level of application of self-sufficiency economy philosophy in the lives ’people in Ping Phuay Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Si Rattana District and to compare the application of the self-sufficiency economy philosophy in the lives ’people in Ping Phuay Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Si Rattana District, Sisaket province is classified by sex, age, education level, occupation and monthly income using quantitative research method. The sample is used in the research involved with people aged 18 years old and over living in Ping Phuay Sub district Administrative Organization area, Si Ratana District. The research instrument is used in this study such as a questionnaire divided into 3 parts with a confidence coefficient of 0.92. Data analysis manipulation is used statistical software packages to determine frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, and statistics used in hypothesis testing, including t-test and F-test. When a statistically significant difference of 0.05 was identified, a dual difference test is performed using the LSD: Least Significant Difference method. The research finding result is as follow: 1) Most of the respondents are female, aged over 50 years old, with education level below a bachelor's degree, working as a farmer, and having a monthly income of 5,000-10,000 baht.  2) The Application of Self-Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Peoples’ lives in Ping Phuay Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Si Rattana District, Sisaket province as a overall is at a high level. When it is considered on a case-by-case basis, it is found that it is at the most high level in all aspects such as moral conditions, rationality, moderation, knowledge conditions, and good immunization consequently. 3) Testing comparison of the application of the Self-Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in the peoples ’lives in Ping Phuay Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Si Rattana District, Sisaket Province. The test results can be summarized as follows: The application of the Self-Sufficiency Economy philosophy to be differs significantly at 0.05; therefore, accepting the research hypothesis statement such as education level, occupation, and monthly income. Besides, the aspect of sex and ages is not significant difference at 0.05, thus rejecting the research hypothesis statement.
