CORRELATION BETWEEN THE EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AND SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION IN MEDIUM-SIZED SECONDARY SCHOOLS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE, PATHUM THANI

Abstract
The survey research aims to study 1) the level of Emotional Intelligence of school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Pathum Thani 2) ) the level of School Administration in Medium-sized Secondary Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Pathum Thani 3) the correlation between the Emotional Intelligence of school administrators and School Administration in Medium-sized Secondary Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Pathum Thani. The sample used in this study includes 267 teachers in Medium-sized Secondary Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Pathum Thani in 2022. This research used the questionnaire which is performed to choose 5 scales of measurement and passed the content and structural validity checked by experts. The reliability is 0.99. The statistical processes used for data analysis were Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.The results of this research were 1) the overall and individual aspects of Emotional Intelligence of school administrators were found to be at high level, the Score ranging was “being happy” followed by “being good” and “being smart”, 2) the overall and individual aspects of School Administration in Medium-sized Secondary Schools were found to be at high level, the top score was the general department followed by academic department, human resources and the budgeting departments respectively, and 3) the correlation between the Emotional Intelligence of school administrators and School Administration in Medium-sized Secondary Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Pathum Thani were positively related with statistically significance at .01 level.
