SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION GUIDELINES TOWARD EXCELLENCE BASED ON THE FOUR SUBLIME STATES OF MIND FOR SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER ROI ET PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis research are: 1) to study the current condition, desired condition, and the needs of School administration guidelines towards Excellence based on the Four Sublime States of Mind for School administrators under Roi Et Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, 2) to provide guidelines for developing educational administration for excellence based on the Four Sublime States of Mind for School administrators under Roe Et primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample group consisted of 313 persons. The instruments used for data collection were a 5-point rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of current condition and desired condition between 0.67 - 1.00 and a reliability of the entire current condition of .98.The results showed that 1) The overall current condition is at a moderate level. It was found that the overall desirable condition is at a high level, and the needs, there was priority index value from highest to lowest, including Strategic planning aspect, which has the highest priority index value of necessity, followed by Operational results, Organizational leadership, Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge management, Learner focus, Personnel focus and Operational process respectively. 2) Guidelines for developing educational administration for excellence based on the Four Sublime States of Mind for School administrators were 1) 9 approaches of Organizational leadership, 2) 9 approaches of Strategic planning. 3) 6 approaches of focus on learners. 4) 4 approaches of focus on Personnel. 5) 5 approaches of Operation process.  6) 6 approaches of Measurement, Analysis and knowledge management, and 7) 5 approaches of Operation results.
