THE APPLICATION OF SANGAHAVATTHU DHAMMA PRINCIPLES IN STRENGTHENING BAN BO BUA KAEW COMMUNITY, RATTAPHUM SUBDISTRICT, KHUAN NIANG DISTRICT, SONGKHLA PROVINCE

Abstract

This thesis aims to: 1) study the concept of strengthening Ban Bo Bua Kaew community, Rattaphum Subdistrict, Khuan Niang District, Songkhla Province,2) study the principles of Sangahavatthu Dhamma appeared in the Theravada Buddhist scriptures, 3) apply the principles of Sangahavatthu Dhamma in strengthening Ban Bo Bua Kaew community, Rattaphum Subdistrict, Khuan Niang District, Songkhla Province. It is qualitative research using documentary research methods and field studies. The research results found that objective clause 1) living according to the concept of strengthening Ban Bo Bua Kaew community makes people who have a better quality of life. Because people know how to develop themselves in all 4 aspects: charity, Piyavaja, Atthachariya and Samanattata. 2) The principles of Sangahavatthu Dhamma appeared in Theravada Buddhist scriptures include: 1. Donation means giving, sacrificing or being generous in sharing. 2. Piyavaja means speaking with sweet words, speaking with sincerity. 3. Atthacariya is helping in things that are beneficial to others. 4. Samanattata means having consistent conduct. 3) The application of the principles of Sangahavatthudhamma in strengthening Ban Bo Bua Kaew community. Using the principles of charity, namely giving and sacrifice, to solve the problem of lack of generosity. Using the principle of piyavaja which is to speak with sweet, sweet words. Solving the problem of lack of humility. Using the principle of Atthachariya which is helping in things that are beneficial to others. Solving the problem of lack of sacrifice. Using the principle of Samanattata which is to have consistent behavior, conflict resolution.
