About the Journal

Aims

Journal of Education and Research in Public Health (JERPH) is the journal that published the articles on public health education and public health research. This is a journal of Sirindhorn College of Public Health, Yala, that disseminates knowledge from studies, research, and the research and development of knowledge through various types of articles written by academics, students, and researchers from both inside and outside the organization. The journal is disseminated to the public in electronic form (as an e-journal).

Publication Policy

Publication Frequency : Every 4 months, 3 issues per year
                                              No.1 January  -April
                                              No.2 May - August
                                              No.3 September - December

Number of articles published : 
          2023–2025: Published 5–7 articles per issue.
          2026 onward: Each issue will publish 7-10 articles.  

Publication Fee : 
                   There is no fee charged for publishing articles at any stage.

Public Health Education and Research Journal There is a policy for publishing health science articles. Environmental Science, Social Science (Public health, Health science education)

Publication ethics

       Publication ethics according to the journal management policy are as follows:

For Authors:

1. Adhere to research principles and ethical guidelines.
2. Maintain honesty in data recording, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
3. Cite sources used; don't copy someone else's work or publish it again.
4. Articles must not have been previously published elsewhere or be under consideration by another journal.
5. The content, text, images, and tables represent the opinions and actions of the authors. The editorial board may disagree with them and assumes no responsibility.

For Editors and the Journal:

1. Screen articles fairly and without bias.
2. Control the quality of article publication and adhere to ethical guidelines.
3. Publish articles by faculty, students, and researchers from both within and outside the organization.
4. Articles published in the journal must follow the journal's format.
5. Maintain the confidentiality of researchers' and reviewers' identities.

For Peer Reviewers:

1. Evaluate articles fairly and without bias based on academic principles, research principles, and ethical guidelines.
2. Provide suggestions for improving and developing articles, including those for future work.
3. Maintain the confidentiality of reviewed articles.

Article Evaluation Policy

               Articles published in the Journal of Public Health Education and Research will be reviewed by experts with expertise in related fields (Peer reviewers), assessing three experts per article with a double-blind approach.
               Article evaluation
                    Articles written by college faculty : assessed by three experts with expertise in related fields from outside agencies.
                    Articles written by researchers who are not part of the organization : assessed by three experts with expertise in relevant fields from the college and/or non-organization staff.

Types of Articles

1. Research article is an article for both basic and applied research.
2. Academic article is an article that analyzes an academic issue. The literature was reviewed and analyzed systematically.
3. Editorial
4. Review article is an article that collects knowledge on a particular subject from various journals or books. compiled, analyzed, and critiqued to create greater clarity on that issue.
5. Special article is an article that expresses opinions related to current events that are of special interest. or an article from a qualified person related to that subject.
6. Short report or pilot study is a presentation of a research study report that has not been completed and requires further study to collect additional information, or is a preliminary study that does not show any correlation in the sequential study. story like the original thesis.
7. Case study is a study of interesting situations that affect health. or it is the presentation of an uncommon patient or a new syndrome that has not been reported before. or are infrequently found.
