LIFE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT OF EARLY CHILDHOOD CHILDREN IN SISAKET PROVINCE

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the life skills of early childhood children in Sisaket Province. The sample group in the research was father or mother or guardian who takes care of preschool children aged 3-5 years and who is studying in a child development center under the local government organization in the area of Sisaket Province. The sample size was determined using the Yamane formula (1967) at the significance level of .05 for 392 subjects, multistage random sampling. The research tools are the rating scale questionnaire had the discriminating power of 0.27 – 0.70 and the confidence value of 0.86. The data were analyzed using arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The results showed that the overall level of early childhood life skills was at a high level (= 3.93). Considering each aspect, it was found that it was at a high level in all aspects, followed by the highest mean on the physical side (= 4.18), come is the intelligence and the social side had the same mean (= 3.99) and the lowest mean on the emotional side (= 3.68).
