STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING SCHOOL EFFECTIVENESS THE SCHOOLS UNDER CHAIYAPHUM PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2

Abstract

This research aimed to study: 1) the strategic leadership of the administrators and school effectiveness, 2) the relationship between the strategic leadership of the administrators and the school effectiveness, and 3) the predictive variables for the strategic leadership of the administrators affecting to the school effectiveness under Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample group included 345 school administrators and teachers under Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The research instrument was the five-rating scaled questionnaires with the reliability valued 0.95. The statistics for analyzing the data contained the percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Co-efficient and the stepwise multiple regression co-efficient. The research findings included: 1) The relationship between the strategic leadership and the school effectiveness under Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 found the correlation in the much level, and the positive correlation at the statistical significance level of .01. 2) The administrators’ strategic leadership affecting to the school effectiveness revealed the regression co-efficient value of the administrators’ strategic leadership in the standardized score at the most level and exposed the aspects of collecting the factors into the strategic regulation (X2), having ability in critical thinking (X3), regulating vision (X5), reformative thinking (X4), and the aspect of the estimation from future (X1) respectively. Also, receiving the multiple co-efficient valued 92.80 at the statistical significance level of .01 with the predictive co-efficient in 86.10%, enabling to construct the predictive equation model of the regression co-efficient predictors in the unstandardized (B) and in the standard score model (β) as follows:
