THE PRIORITY NEEDS FOR ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT OF BODINDECHA (SING SINGHASENI) AFFILIATED SCHOOLS BASED ON THE CONCEPT OF VISUAL LITERACY

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the priority needs of academic management of Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni) Affiliated Schools based on the concept of visual literacy. This research is descriptive research. The tool used in the research was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and the modified Priority Needs Index (PNIModified). The survey was completed by 251 people, who were all administrators and secondary school teachers at Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni) Affiliated Schools. The finding showed that 1) The current state was at a moderate level, with teaching media and educational technology development having the highest mean and the curriculum development having the lowest mean. The desired state was at
the highest level, with teaching and learning management having the highest mean and curriculum development with the lowest mean. 2) The overall Priority Need Index of academic management was 0.305 (PNIModified = 0.305). In consideration of the scope of academic management, curriculum development had the highest priority needs index, while teaching media and educational technology development had the lowest priority needs index. Considering the scope of academic administration development, it was found that measurement and evaluation had the highest development needs, and educational media and technology development had the lowest development needs.
