THE CURRENT STATE AND THE EXPECTED STATE AND THE GUIDELINE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SAFETY MANAGEMENT IN LARGE SCHOOLS UNDER THE OFFICE OF MUKDAHAN PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA

Abstract

The purposes of article were to study the current state and the expected state, to compare the current state and the expected state and to study the guidelines for the development of safety management of large schools under the office of Mukdahan Primary Educational Service Area Office. The sample group used in this research were 201 teachers in large schools under the Office of Mukdahan Primary Educational Service Area, Academic Year 2020 selected by Multistage Sampling. The instrument for data collection was a five-level estimation scale questionnaire. The discrimination of the current state safety was .92 and the discrimination of the expected state of safety was .91. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and priority needs analysis (PNI_Modified). The research findings were: 1)The current state of the safety management of large schools, overall was found at the high level. 2) The expected state of the safety management of large schools, overall was found at the high level. 3) The needs assessment of large school safety management, overall there was a prioritization index of essential needs. (PNI_Modified) is 0.04 and 4) Guidelines for developing safety management in large schools under the office of Mukdahan Primary Educational Service Area. The results obtained from the need have four aspects were in The area of the school such as determine a boundary that was prohibited from entering unsafe areas or during repairs, Physical environment such as the school had tables, chairs and other equipment used in the school's classrooms in a strong and safe condition, On the way back to school such as the school organizes practical training activities for students to go back and forth and Safety in learning activities such as the school organizes training activities to educate about the precautions and prevention of accidents from tools, utensils and equipment.
