BUDDHISM AND CASTE SYSTEM

Abstract

Buddhism was the first religion that taught human beings in abolishing  the abuse of each other that was because castes were originated by births and lineages. The meeting point was established through the morality. In whatever castes humans were born or whatever status they had, if they lived their lives in morality, it was believed that they would be praiseworthy. On the contrary, if they violated the morality, in whatever higher castes they were born, they were considered villains that should be blamed. In abolishment of castes taught in Buddhism, stories in Buddhist literatures should be inherited for considering how ancient India grievously believed in caste system.
