PARTICIPATION OF ETHNIC GROUPS TO LOCAL POLITICAL DEVELOPMENT IN KAMPHAENG PHET PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed to : : 1. to study the participation of ethnic groups to local political development in Kamphaeng Phet Province, 2. to study activity development and the principles of Saraniyadhamma 6 application to promote the participation of ethnic groups to local political development in Kamphaeng Phet Province, 3. to propose the model for the participation of ethnic groups to local political development in Kamphaeng Phet Province. The Results of the study are summarized as follows 1) The overall of the participation of ethnic groups to local political development in Kamphaeng Phet Province is at moderate level When considering in each aspect, it was found that in moderate level at all aspects. 2) The Development of ethnic group participation activities includes: knowledge potential development, leadership promotion, opening of participation areas, Strengthening the forum for exchanging knowledge together, Opening channels for disseminating information. As for the application of the 6 Saraniyadhamma principles, it consists of Mettakayakarma, Mettavajikarma, Mettamanokarma, Satharanaphoki, Silasamaññata, Tithisamaññata. 3) The model for the participation of ethnic groups to local political development in Kamphaeng Phet Province include: 1) knowledge creation, Creating participatory leadership, Creating a participation areas, Creating a forum to exchange knowledge together, Creating channels to disseminate information and publicize thoroughly, Creating coexistence by the principles of the 6 Saraniyadhamma.
