THE COMPARISON STUDY OF THE ROLE OF THE GREAT DHUTANGA BUDDHA’S DISCIPLES IN THE BUDDHA’S PAST AND THE GREAT DHUTANGA LUAN POO MANN’S DISCIPLES

Abstract

This thesis titled has 3 objectives as follows: 1) to study the role of pilgrims in the time of the Lord Buddha; 2) To study the role of a monk who takes a pilgrimage in the line of Luang Pu Man Bhuridattato; and 3) To study and compare the roles of the pilgrimage monks in the time of the Lord Buddha and the pilgrimage monks of the Luang Pu Man Bhurittto line. This research is a documentary qualitative research. The results showed that: Thudong Kavat is a tool and a practice to refine the behavior of monks. It is a method for eliminating defilements. resulting in a more indifferent solitude Do not accumulate passion and prejudice make the practice of dharma progress up to the preliminary and advanced level of enlightenment in Buddhism. Compare the pilgrimage practice of Phra Maha Kassapa Thera. He held 3 pilgrimages. (1) It is a practice to wear a requiem (2) It is a practice to take an alms round (3) It is a practice to live in the forest until being praised He is superior to all monks in the way of pilgrimage. Compared with the pilgrimage practice of Luang Pu Man Phuritatto, the pilgrimage practice of Phra Bodhiyan Thera (Cha Suphatto), the pilgrimage practice of Luang Maha Bua Yannasampanno The pilgrimage is the same with 3 things: 1) Wearing a rag, 2) Taking alms to me, 3) Staying in the forest as a routine.the difference is Don't accept food that is offered later. As for the pilgrimage practice of Phra Upasen Thera and the pilgrimage practice of Phra Rahul Thera, holding 13 pilgrimages.
