DEVELMENT OF CREATIVE ACTIVITIES AND BUDDHIST PSYCHOLOGY CENTER FOR YOUTH IN NONGBUADAENG DISTRICT CHAYAPHUM PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the readiness and potential for establishing   a Buddhist Psychology center in Nongbuadaeng District, Chaiyaphum Province, 2) design a Buddhist Psychology center and develop creative activities for youth in Nongbuadaeng District, Chaiyaphum Province, 3) drive the Buddhist Psychology center with creative activities for youth in Nongbuadaeng District, Chaiyaphum Province. Qualitative research was conducted by studying documents. the tools used for data collection were in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with 30 people. The results of the research found that the community in the research area was not ready to establish a Buddhist Psychology center because it lacked space, equipment, and personnel. It was only established at the temple under the supervision of the abbot, but the services were not yet available to the youth. In designing the Buddhist Psychology Center, cooperation was obtained from academics, community leaders, and abbots to create a concrete Buddhist Psychology Center and drive the center with creative activities. Creative learning              is driven by the learning  process. Let the youth practice learning activities that are connected to their way of life to deeply understand what they are learning. In addition, the youth need to learn and develop various skills, including learning and innovation skills, life and career skills, and information and communication technology skills. Learning must encourage learners to apply their knowledge to actual practice and use the principles of Buddhist psychology as a guideline for their lives.
