Guidelines for Developing Relationship Management between Educational Institutions and Communities under the Primary Education Service Area Office

Abstract
This research aims to: 1) Study the current state and the desired state of the management of relationships between schools and communities in schools under the Primary Education Service Area Office; and 2) Investigate the needs for building relationships between schools and communities in schools under the Primary Education Service Area Office, categorized by gender, age, highest education level, position, work experience, and region. The sample group used in this study consisted of 400 school administrators and teachers from schools under the Primary Education Service Area Office. The researcher studied the population data of school administrators and teachers in schools under the Primary Education Service Area Office, totaling 230,495 people. The sample size was determined using the Yamane formula, and a stratified random sampling method was employed, with a sample size of 399.31 people at a 95% confidence level. To reduce statistical errors, the researcher adjusted the sample size to 400 people, proportionately categorized by region.
The research findings revealed that 1) the current state of managing the relationship between schools and communities in the Primary Educational Service Area Office was rated highly in all four areas: community involvement, community service, support for school activities, and public relations. The desired state of managing the relationship between schools and communities was rated highest in all four areas: community involvement, community service, support for school activities, and public relations.
