The research question was formulated as: "What should the philosophy of intellectual leadership be?" The objectives of the research were as follows: 1) to study the concept of leadership, 2) to examine the concept of intellect, and 3) to analyze the philosophy of intellectual leadership. The findings of the research revealed that 1) leadership referred to the ability to initiate, influence, and motivate individuals and organizations to achieve common organizational goals, leading to positive changes toward collectively accepted objectives. Effective leadership required both science and art in persuading people to act in accordance with the consensus between the leader and the followers, ensuring the organization's sustainability and continuity. 2) Humans differed from animals, plants, and inanimate objects in that they possessed intellect and consciousness. Intellectual well-being was defined as a deep understanding of oneself, fostering positive and constructive connections with others, transcending egoistic attachments, and attaining happiness, tranquility, and a sense of freedom in life. It involved accepting the world and life as they truly were. In Theravada Buddhist philosophy, "pañña" (wisdom) was interpreted as profound knowledge, clear insight, an understanding of dependent origination (paticcasamuppada), and comprehension of the noble truths (ariya-sacca). 3) The philosophy of intellectual leadership was a philosophy that cultivated individuals with leadership qualities capable of fostering intellectual well-being within themselves, sharing and contributing to society through altruism, and driving collective intellectual well-being. It aimed at reducing suffering and addressing societal challenges through wisdom, with the ultimate goal of promoting the well-being of the collective. This philosophy emphasized holistic quality-of-life development through creativity power, adaptivity power, collaboration power, and requisitivity power.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social Religion and Culture https://so12.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/src/article/view/2016 An Analysis of Factors Affecting the Knowledge Management of Students at Thailand National Sports University, Bangkok Campus 2025-03-06T16:22:19+07:00 Kwanklao Srisopha ajkwan.s@gmail.com Thanarit Thanaiudompat tktof@gmail.com Sukanya Ritngam ritngamsukanya@gmail.com
Knowledge management is considered an important skill that will result in the achievement of students according to the vision of Thailand National Sports University, Bangkok Campus. The study was conducted through document analysis. The research findings revealed that: 1. The primary issue faced by farmers and vulnerable groups in Thai society was their inability to achieve self-reliance due to declining rice prices, high production costs, and a lack of fair market access. Although the government had implemented assistance measures, they had not been able to create true sustainability. 2. The Kalpana Project under the Sahadhamma Foundation applied the philosophy of sufficiency economy by emphasizing the “Three Rings and Two Conditions” principles, which promoted moderation, reasonableness, and resilience while supporting development based on knowledge and ethics. 3. The problem-solving platform for farmers and vulnerable groups developed by the Kalpana Project was designed to balance economic, social, and environmental aspects through a holistic approach. This was achieved using the SAPAE process Survey, Analysis, Planning, Action, and Evaluation which enabled communities to achieve sustainable self-reliance. The project fostered collaboration among farmers, vulnerable groups, NGOs, and the government to reduce dependence on capitalists and middlemen. The implementation of the Kalpana Project helped farmers achieve more stable incomes, reduce their debt burdens, and gain fair access to production resources. Additionally, it supported vulnerable groups in living with dignity through a sustainable sharing model that emphasized mutual support and self-reliance.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social Religion and Culture https://so12.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/src/article/view/1970 Digital Governance: Challenges and Opportunities for Thai Public Administration 2025-03-10T07:21:17+07:00 Mutjarin Thatsadonkunlaphat mutjarin1980@gmail.com
This academic article aims to examine digital governance and its impact on Thai public administration amid the accelerated transition to digital government catalyzed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The study analyzes challenges and opportunities in applying governance principles within Thailand's digital context. The findings reveal that Thailand's digital governance development faces challenges in structure and systems, personnel and organizational culture, as well as legal frameworks and security concerns. This has led to new knowledge synthesized into the “Thai Integrated Digital Governance Model” with six key components. Analysis of digital governance development trends indicates that a crucial factor requiring attention is recognizing that development involves not merely adopting technology but reforming the paradigm and management methods of the entire public sector. This aligns with the perspective of modern public administration scholars who view reform as necessarily holistic in approach. In conclusion, opportunities arising from digital governance development lead to advancement toward Smart Government characterized by three key attributes: Transparency, Efficiency, and Responsiveness, which truly represent the ultimate goals of good public administration in the 21st century.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social Religion and Culture https://so12.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/src/article/view/3105 Strategic Directions for Advancing Thai Education through Innovative Pedagogical Approaches 2025-06-19T15:03:06+07:00 Phra Danchai Suriyawungso (Suriyawong) danchaid072@gmail.com
This article aims to propose guidelines for driving Thai education through innovative teaching approaches that respond to the context of 21st-century learners.
