Development of a Model School for Student Council According to the Principles of Aparihaniyadhamma 7 at Thung Song School under Secondary Educational Service area Office Nakhon Si Thammarat

Abstract

            This research article aims to Study 1) the operating conditions of the model school for student council Thung Song School. 2) the guidelines for the development of a model school for student council according to the principles of Aparihaniyadhamma 7 at Thung Song School. 3) present and evaluate the development guidelines development of a model school for student council according to the principles of Aparihaniyadhamma 7 at Thung Song School, using qualitative research methods to collect data by in-depth interviews with 15 stakeholders, 5 informants, and focus group discussions with 7 experts. The data were analyzed using inductive analysis.

            The research results were found as follows:- 1) The conditions of operations to promote student councils and democracy in schools, student council participation in promoting and supporting school activities, the creation of student council cooperation networks with communities, governmental and private organizations, and student council operations found by educational institutions supported students to participate in various activities, but students still lacked confidence in their work and did not dare to express themselves and make decisions, resulting in operations not going in the same direction. 2) The guidelines for the development of a model school for student council according to the principles of Aparihaniyadhamma 7 consisted of: 1. Operations to promote student councils and democracy in schools 2. Student council participation in promoting and supporting school activities 3. Creation of student council cooperation networks 4.
