The Principles of Brahma-Vihara and Personnel Management of Educational Personnel in Chonburi Primary Education Service Area Office 3

Abstract

            This research aims to 1) to study the level of adherence to the principles of Brahma Vihara among educational personnel, 2) to examine the level of personnel management, and 3) to explore the relationship between the principles of Brahma-Vihara and personnel management. This sample group consisted of 385 educational personnel. The instrument used was a questionnaire. data analysis Finding percentages, averages, and standard deviations and find relationships by Pearsion’s product correlation coefficient.

            The research results found that 1) the majority of educational personnel exhibit adherence to the principles of Brahma-Vihara at a “very high” level, with loving-kindness (Metta) having the highest average, followed by sympathetic joy (Mudita), compassion (Karuna), and equanimity (Upekkha). This reflects their love, goodwill, and care for others in the organization, their joy in others’ success, and their impartiality in decision-making. 2) The level of personnel management is rated as “high,” particularly in areas such as the provision of welfare and compensation, transparent recruitment and selection processes, fair performance evaluations, effective human resource planning, and skill development training. 3) The relationship between the principles of Brahma-Vihara and personnel management is found to have a moderately positive correlation, statistically significant at the 0.01 level.
