Development of a Skill Exercise for Learning the Art of Coloring Primary 5 Prachanikom 4 School.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to develop a skill exercises for learning about the art of coloring, Primary 5 to meet the criteria 80/80; (2) find the index of effectiveness of the skill exercises for learning the art of coloring, Primary 5; and (3) to study the students' satisfaction towards teaching activities by using the art of coloring skill exercises, Primary 5.

This research was a quasi-experimental research. The sample consisted of 25 students in Prachanikom 4 School, Chumphon Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The instrument used for data collection consisted of: (1) a skill practice exercise for learning the art of coloring; (2) a learning management plan; (3) an achievement test; and (4) a student satisfaction assessment form. The statistics used for the data analysis were percentage, mean, and Standard Deviation.

The results of the research showed that (1) the subject group skill exercises for learning the art of coloring were effective (E1/E2) equal to 81.40/86.93 which met the specified criteria 80/80; (2) practicing the subject group skills, for learning the art of coloring with a value of 0.6678, which can improve cognitive skills. Accounted for 66.78% and (3) the students were satisfied with the skill exercises for learning the art of coloring, Primary 5 overall was at the highest level.
