Operational Effectiveness of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center Region 4, Sam Roi Yot District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to evaluated operational effectiveness of disaster prevention and mitigation center region 4, Sam Roi Yot District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. 2) To compared operational effectiveness of disaster prevention and mitigation center region 4, Sam Roi Yot District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. 3) To explain correlation between operational effectiveness of disaster prevention and mitigation center region 4, Sam Roi Yot District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province with factors affecting operational effectiveness. This research was quantitative research, questionaries was data collective tools. The sample group was 200 people in Sam Roi Yot District. Analytical statistics were percentages mean standard deviation, t test ANOVAF Pearson coefficient.

The results found that; 1) operational effectiveness of disaster prevention and mitigation center region 4, Sam Roi Yot District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province were moderate level. 2) The opinions of the sample towards effectiveness of disaster prevention and mitigation center region 4 found that there was statistically significant at the .05 level. 3) Public participation factor there was a positive correlation with the operational effectiveness of disaster prevention and mitigation center at the statistical significance level of 0.01.
