The objective of this research was to1) explore effectiveness of personnel competencies development Bureau of Audit Prevention and Enforcement Excise Department.2) compare effectiveness of personnel competencies development via respondents ’attitude verified by demographic factors. 3) explain correlation between affecting factors with effectiveness of personnel competencies development. This was quantitative research, sample were 140 personnel attached to Bureau of Audit Prevention and Enforcement Excise Department. Questionnaires were data collection means. Analytical statistics were percentages standard deviation mean and t test ANOVA F Pearson correlation. Major findings were as follows; 1) effectiveness of personnel competencies development Bureau of Audit Prevention and Enforcement Excise Department were highest level. 2) There was statistically significant difference among respondents ’attitude toward effectiveness of personnel competencies development at .05 level. 3)There were positive statistically significant correlation between affecting factors with effectiveness of personnel competencies development at .01 level.
