Abstract
The purposes of this research were to (1) study the administration of student care and support system of school under the Phetchaburi secondary educational service area office. (2) compare the administration of student care and support system of school under the Phetchaburi secondary educational service area office according to variables: gender, work experience and school size, and (3) study the problems and suggestions the administration of student care and support system of school under the Phetchaburi secondary educational service area office. The sample of 267 people randomly selected from teachers under the Phetchaburi secondary educational service area office, using a simple random method by drawing lots according to the names of teachers. Instrument used was questionnaire. The data were analyzed statistically for frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, One-way ANOVA Compare pairs using the LSD method. The research results were as follows: (1) the administration of student care and support system was overall and aspect at the good level, when considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average value was screening students, followed by knowing students individually, prevention and problem solving, and promotion and development. The aspect with the lowest average score was the student referral, (2) the teachers with difference gender, work experience and school size were no different views on the administration of student care and support system, and (3) the main problem is administrators have unclear criteria for separating students., as a result, organizing activities to visit students' homes to get to know students individually is not yet systematic, lack of continuity. The suggestion is administrators should create an information system to analyze individual students, along with jointly setting up a working system, planning activities clearly in every step to provide guidelines for teachers to be able to perform their tasks correctly and quickly, able to coordinate with relevant people and refer students with problems in a timely manner.
