Abstract

This research has the following objectives: (1) To study the ethical management of school operations by administrators affiliated with the educational district office in Petchaburi


Province, District (2) To compare the ethical management of school operations by administrators based on gender, school size, and work experience. (3) To investigate problems


and suggestions regarding the ethical management of school operations by administrators. The


sample group includes teachers affiliated with the educational district office in Petchaburi Province, District 2, totaling 269 individuals. The sample size was determined using sample size table at a 95% confidence level. The stratified random sampling method was employed based on school size, considering the proportion of the sample group


in each stratum. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with a content validity index ranging from .70 to 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.95 based on actual data. Research findings revealed that: (1) Research findings revealed that the moral school administration by educational institution administrators was rated at a high level, particularly in the dimensions of honesty and moral ideology. In contrast, the dimension of sufficiency economy was rated at a moderate level. (2) When comparing the ethical management of school operations by administrators, it was found that gender and school size did not significantly affect teachers’ opinions, whereas work experience demonstrated statistically significant differences. The study recommends that school administrators promote balanced development across all five moral dimensions, with particular emphasis on building collaborative networks with communities to foster a moral culture within educational institutions.
