Abstract

This research is a study of the crisis communication strategy of the Center for COVID-19 Situation Management, a government agency responsible for the supervision of the coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic. By studying the document Video clips from the daily situation report with the highest number of views, 12 video clips. and an in-depth interview with two academics involved in the design of messages for communication by the spokesman of the Center for Coronavirus Disease 2019 Situation Administration (CCSA).

The study found that correct and appropriate crisis communication methods during the COVID-19 pandemic are urgently needed. using the concept of communication from a single official source This will be able to control the accuracy of the content. Create clarity in effective communication with the following principles: (1) Centralized communication management (2) The same message does not conflict (3) Defeat rumors, and fake news (4) Share the same issue on social media. (5) Easy to understand, clearly divided into points, to the point, and straightforward. (6) Spread the message without being distorted through the mass media.  There is an official information center for easy inquiries to reduce confusion.
