A STUDY OF IDDHIPADA 4 IN ECCLESIASTICAL SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN MUANG DISTRICT, UBON RATCHATHANI PROVINCE

Abstract
This thesis included the following objectives: 1) To study concepts and theories related to Iddhipada 4; 2) to study the condition of problems in the Ecclesiastical Secondary Schools in Muang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province; and 3) to analyze the application of Iddhipada 4 in the administration of the Ecclesiastical Secondary Schools in Muang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. Mixed methodology research was used through the integration of qualitative research and quantitative research. Results of this research were as follows. Regarding the level of operation in the application of Iddhipada 4 in the administration of the Ecclesiastical Secondary Schools in Muang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, it was found that the overall opinion on the operation in the application of Iddhipada 4 in the administration of the Ecclesiastical Secondary Schools in Muang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province was at a high level (=4.12, S.D.=0.43). This indicated that working or being personnel in the 5 Ecclesiastical Secondary Schools was arisen from: voluntarily performing duties and being ready to seriously perform with pleasure and willingness (Chanda: Will) (=4.22, S.D.=0.63); scarcely abandoning work but being fully responsible for duties (Viriya: Effort) (4.35, S.D.=0.52); determination (Citta: Dedication) (=4.48, S.D.=0.50) and systematic reasoning (Vimamsa: Investigation) (=4.04, S.D.=0.68). Regarding the guidelines for promoting the application of Iddhipada 4 in the administration of the Ecclesiastical Secondary Schools in Muang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, from the conditions of problems and obstacles in each aspect, there were common guidelines in all the 5 schools including: promotion of morale building; promotion of awareness and sense of belongingness in schools; promotion of relation activities within the schools; promotion of cooperation from networks in administration and management; promotion of upskill training and development for teachers and all the personnel to be equipped with Dhamma principles in administration and management.
