PROBLEMS AND SUGGESTIONS IN SMALL SCHOOLS REGARDING THE USE OF THE INTERNET FOR EDUCATION

Abstract
This research was the result of phase 1 of the research project on Strategies for developing teachers in learning management via the internet network towards new teaching methods for lifelong learning in the transitional era and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective was to study problems and suggestions in small schools regarding the use of the Internet for educational management. The research was divided into 2 phases: 1) Problem survey phase. The sample consisted of 260 teachers and administrators in small schools by using cluster random sampling. The research tool used a questionnaire. The content validity value is set at 0.80 - 1.00. The discriminatory power value ranges from .311 - .468. The reliability value of the questionnaire was .830 . The statistics used are the mean and standard deviation and 2) the step of finding questions. The suggestions were from 9 experts by using group discussion techniques. The results revealed that.The level of opinions regarding the problem and the school as a whole was at the medium level. (= 3.38 , S.D.= .549) and the policy recommendation and strategies for developing teachers in learning management via the internet network towards new teaching methods for lifelong learning . It was found that 1) Executives or school administrators should have knowledge, abilities, and leadership in the digital field or technology in educational institution management. 2) Set common goals of internal personnel towards school development. with the goal of using technology as a base. 3) Seek for a network of cooperation in both budgetary and financial matters, and other cooperation. This most schools were still lack of good management system, regarding technology in teaching and learning.
