ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP OF ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING TO THE SCHOOL EFFECTIVENESS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE CHAIYAPHUM

Abstract
This research aimed to study : 1) the academic leadership of administrators and school effectiveness, 2) the relationship between the academic leadership of the administrators and the school effectiveness, and 3) the predictive variables of the academic leadership of administrators affecting to the school effectiveness under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chaiyaphum. The sample group included 332 school administrators and teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chaiyaphum. The research instrument was the five-rating scaled questionnaires with the overall-paper reliability valued 0.86. The statistics for analyzing the data contained the percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient and Stepwise Multiple Regression.The research findings covered: 1) The academic leadership of administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chaiyaphum indicated in overall and each aspect at the most level. and the school effectiveness under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chaiyaphum indicated in overall and each aspect at the most level. 2) The relationship between the academic leadership of administrators and the school effectiveness under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chaiyaphum indicated the positive correlation in the moderate level (r = 0.689), and found the positive correlation at the statistical significance level of .01. 3) The academic leadership of administrators affecting to the school effectiveness under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chaiyaphum exposed the regression co-efficient in the academic leadership of the administrators affecting to the school effectiveness implying in the standard score model at the most level, including the aspect of academic atmosphere promotion (X4), the latter contained the aspects of following-up learners’ advancement (X3), instructional supervision (X5), curriculum and instruction management (X2) and the aspect of school mission regulation (X1) respectively. The multiple correlation co-efficient value revealed 0.725 at the statistical significance level of .01 with the predictive co-efficient value in 52.50%,
