RIGHTS AND LIBERTIES OF THE PEOPLE ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE KINGDOM OF THAILAND

Abstract

Rights, liberties and duties of humans are crucial elements of which the people should be aware and not to violate other people’s rights and liberties. It is a normal rule of society to define the rights, liberties and duties of persons that they are able to do whatever they wish provided that it does not cause trouble to others. According to the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, it recognizes that rights, liberties, equality and duties belong to all the Thai people. The recognition of human dignities is the prohibition of treating humans as animals or as slaves, for example, humans cannot be experimented as animals. These recognized rights can always be used as long as they do not harm others. Section 4 of the Constitution refers that human dignity, rights and liberties of the people shall be protected and Section 27 refers that  rights and liberties recognized by this Constitution explicitly, by implication or by decisions of the Constitutional Court shall be protected and directly binding on the National Assembly, the Council of Ministers, the Courts, Constitutional organizations and State agencies with respect to the enactment, application and interpretation of all laws.
