Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the level of organizational health, 2) study the level of organizational effectiveness of schools and 3) study the relationship between organizational health and effectiveness of school administration under Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample used in this research was 322 administrators and teachers in Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, academic year 2023. They were selected by stratified random sampling. The instrument used for data collection was a five-point rating scale questionnaire with IOC index between 0.67 - 1.00 and a reliability was 0.97. The data were analyzed by the statistics of percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient.


               The findings revealed that: 1. The organizational health of school administration under Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 in overall was at a high level. The results ranked from the high to the low level as follows: leadership, goal focus, morale, cohesiveness, communication, and resource support respectively. 2. The effectiveness of school under Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 in overall was at the highest level. The results ranked from the high to the low level as follows: personnel management, educational administration, and student quality. 3. The relationship between organizational health and effectiveness of school under Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 had a positive relationship with a statistical significance of .84 and was at a high level with a statistical significance of .01.
