Abstract
This research aimed 1) to study the level of readiness for Internal Quality Assurance for External Quality Assurance of Educational Institutions, 2) to compare the level of readiness for Internal Quality Assurance, according to variables of the school sizes and 3) to explore ways to prepare for Internal Quality Assurance for External Quality Assurance of Educational Institutions under the Chiangrai Primary Education Service Area Office 2. This research was quantitative research and qualitative research. The sample, yielding a total of 306 participants, consisted of 28 educational institution administrators and 278 teachers and educational personnel. They were selected by the table proposed by Stratified random sampling. The instrument for collecting data was a five-point-rating-scale questionnaire with the reliability of 0.98. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation. the F-test with the Sheffe’s Method have been employed and interview from using content analysis. The research results were found as follows:
- 1. The readiness for Internal Quality Assurance for External Quality Assurance of Educational Institutions was at a high level. 2. The comparative results of the readiness for Internal Quality Assurance of the schools according to variables of school sizes had overall difference which had the statistically significant difference at the level of .05 and 3. The guidelines for preparing internal quality assurance were to 1) plan the development of the quality of students to have the ability to create innovations and 2) use the principles of participatory management to use technology to benefit teaching and learning, and educational institutions should encourage teachers from variety of media.
