THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CREATIVE LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AND THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SCHOOLS UNDER PHICHIT EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study creative leadership of school administrators under Phichit educational service area office 2, 2) to study schools’ effectiveness under Phichit educational service area office 2 and 3) to study the relationship between creative leadership of school administrators and the schools effectiveness under Phichit educational service area office 2. The sample, yielding a total of 291 participants, was 25 school administrators and 266 teachers under the office of Phichit educational service 2 in the academic year 2023. The instrument in this research was a questionnaire with a 5-level estimation scale, item-objective congruence (IOC) between 0.67 – 1.00 and reliability of the whole questionnaire was 0.97.  The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient. The results showed as follow:

1. 1. Creative leadership of school administrators under Phichit educational service area office 2 in overall was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that flexibility was the highest mean, followed by creativity and the lowest mean was vision. Effectiveness of schools under Phichit educational service area office 2 in overall was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that ability to change and develop to the environment was the highest mean, followed by ability to enable students to acquire high learning efficiency and the lowest mean was ability to develop students’ positive attitude. 3.The relationship between creative leadership of school administrators and the effectiveness of schools under Phichit educational service area office 2 totally in positive correlation was at a high correlation level with statistically significant at the .01 level.
