A STUDY OF STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP AND GUIDELINES FOR STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER MAE SOT CITY MUNICIPALITY, TAK PROVINCE

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study the strategic leadership of administrator and study the guidelines for strategic leadership development of administrator. The research was carried out in 2 steps. Step: 1 Study strategic leadership of administrator. The sample group consisted of 15 school administrators obtained by purposive selection, and 175 teachers obtained by stratified random sampling according to the proportion of teachers in each school. The research tools used to collect data comprised of 5-scale questionnaire. The mean and standard deviation were applied for data analysis. Step: 2 Study guidelines for strategic leadership development of administrator. The group of informants included: three experts obtained from purposive selection. The research tool used to gather data was a semi-structured interview form and content analysis was employed for data analysis. The findings revealed that:
- 1. The overall, the study of the strategic leadership of school administrators under Mae Sot City Municipality under the Mae Sot Municipality was at a high level. Considering each aspect, it was found that the highest average value was organizational direction determination and lowest average value was strategy implementation. 2. The guidelines for strategic leadership development of school administrators under Mae Sot City Municipality, Tak Province, it was found that 1) school administrators should review vision of school to be consistent with the strategy of original affiliation and the context. 2) based on the participation, and developing the potential of personnel, 3) being a creator of positive change the positive ideas and working In addition, 4) manage the personals and working follow school strategies and 5) plan to evaluate the results of school strategies.
