Abstract

This article aims to present the development of innovative approaches for teaching and learning Pali in the digital age, focusing on the integration of modern technologies to enhance educational effectiveness and content accessibility. As a sacred and significant language in Buddhism, Pali faces challenges in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. Utilizing online learning platforms, mobile applications, and multimedia instructional materials are key tools for advancing Pali education. The study analyzes the impact of technology on Pali education, including the application of VR (virtual reality) and AR (augmented reality) technologies to create immersive and interactive learning environments. Key recommendations include updating curricula to align with digital learning trends, supporting the development of educational tools through public and private sector collaboration, and leveraging new technologies to improve educational quality. This study aims to offer guidelines for developing innovative approaches to teaching Pali in the digital era, ensuring that Pali education remains relevant and responsive to the needs of contemporary learners.
