A Study of the Problems in Implementing the Little Scientist House Project in Thailand by Early Childhood Teachers under the Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

The objective of this research was to investigate the problems related to the implementation of the Little Scientists’ House Thailand project activities conducted by early childhood teachers under the jurisdiction of the Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. This study employed a survey research methodology. The sample group consisted of 175 early childhood teachers teaching kindergarten levels 2 to 3, selected through simple random sampling from those who implemented the Little Scientists’ House Thailand project during the academic year 2024. The research instrument used was a questionnaire concerning the problems in organizing the project activities by early childhood teachers under the Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The research procedure was divided into four steps: (1) obtaining permission for data collection, (2) coordinating with the relevant agencies, (3) verifying the completeness of the data, and (4) analyzing and synthesizing the data. The research findings revealed that the overall level of problems in organizing the Little Scientists’ House Thailand project activities among early childhood teachers was high, with a mean score of 4.14 and a standard deviation of 0.95. When analyzed by aspect, the average scores from highest to lowest were: readiness to organize activities, implementation of activities, assessment and evaluation of activities, planning of activities, and budgeting for activities.
