Working according to the principles of Gharavasadhamma of police officers under Meiwadi Provincial police station in Roi Et Province

Abstract

         Objectives of this research were: 1) To study the level of performance of police officers under Moeiwadi Provincial Police Station in Roi Et Province 2) To study the relationship between Gharavasadhamma and work performance of police officers under Moeiwadi Provincial Police Station in Roi Et Province 3) To study guidelines for developing work according to the Gharavasadhamma principles of police officers under Moeiwadi Provincial Police Station in Roi Et Province. Methodology was the mixed methods: The quantity research, data were collected with questionnaires from 44 samples by purposive Random Sampling. The data were analyzed by mean and standard deviation. The qualitative research, data were collected from 10 key informants by In-depth interviewing, analyzing the correlations between Gharavasadhamma and work performance of the line of work from Moeiwadi Provincial Police officers with Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient.

         Findings were as follows: 1) Level of performance according to the Gharavasadhamma done by the police officers under Moeiwadi Provincial Police Station in Roi Et Province were generally in the high level ( =4.48, S.D.= 0.78). 2) Gharavasadhamma had a high level of positive correlation (R=.824**) with work performance of the police officers' line of work under Meiwadi Provincial Police Station in Roi Et Province at statistically significant level at 0.01 3) The developing police operations from the perspective of police officers should cover many areas and focus on creating transparency, skill building and building partnerships with communities to create a safe and just society. Developing police operations from the perspective of the public focuses on creating fairness etc. Guidelines for developing police operations. Emphasis is placed on applying principles of morality and ethics in police operations to create a society that is fair, merciful, and peaceful.
