THE APPLICATION OF AI-INTEGRATED ONLINE LEARNING MEDIA TO ENHANCE SELF-DIRECTED LEARNING EFFICIENCY AMONG UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS : A CASE STUDY OF ABC PRIVATE UNIVERSITY

Abstract

          The research titled “The Application of AI-Integrated Online Learning Media to Enhance Self-Directed Learning Efficiency among Undergraduate Students : A Case Study of ABC Private University” aims to Apply online learning media integrated with AI technology for undergraduate students. Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the developed online learning media. Examine students’ satisfaction with the AI-integrated online learning media. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, consisting of stages of design, development, implementation, and evaluation of the learning media. The participants included 50 undergraduate students who used the developed online media for a period of two weeks. The evaluation results revealed that the efficiency of the media significantly improved students’ learning outcomes. The average post-test score increased from 62.8 to 80.8 points. In addition, students reported a high level of satisfaction, particularly with AI features that supported content recommendations, personalized guidance, and immediate feedback. In conclusion, the AI - integrated online learning media clearly enhanced and supported students’ self-directed learning. The study also suggests further development of AI features, such as automated content summarization and adaptive lesson sequencing, to maximize learning efficiency.
