THE PERFORMANCE OF SERVICE IN DU PHONG SUB-DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, SANTISUK DISTRICT, NAN PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of performance of service In Du Phong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Santisuk district, Nan province, and compare the level of performance of service In Du Phong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Santisuk district, Nan province classified by personal factors as gender, age, education level, and income. The populations of this research were 5,020 persons who lived in the area of Du Phong Sub-district, Santisuk district, Nan province. The sample size was obtained by Taro  Yamane’s formula. The sample were 371 respondents. The data were collecting by questionnaire by surveying. The data were analyzed by frequency, mean, standard deviation, and hypotheses test by t-test, F-test.


 


The research findings were as follows:


1)   The personal data of the respondents revealed that the most were females 229 persons or 57.2 %, age between 21-40 years old 192 persons or 51.8 %, education level at vocation/ undergraduate or bachelor degree 189 persons or 50.9 %, and income between 15,000-25,000 baht 210 persons or 56.6 %.


2)   The level of performance of service In Du Phong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Santisuk district, Nan province, were, overall at a high level (gif.latex?\bar{X}=3.75, S.D.=.42). Considering each aspect individually revealed that all aspects were at a high level. The highest mean was adequate service (gif.latex?\bar{X}=3.96, S.D.=.46), followed by speed service on time (gif.latex?\bar{X}=3.78, S.D.=0.44),  and the least was continual service (gif.latex?\bar{X}=3.62, S.D.=.50), respectively.


3)   The comparisons on the opinions of the level of  level of performance of service In Du Phong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Santisuk district, Nan province classified by personal factors, as gender, age, education level, and income were, overall found to have no difference.
