Effectiveness of Prevention and Enforcement of smuggling Tobacco and Cigarette into Royal Thai Kingdom

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) explore effectiveness of Prevention and Enforcement of smuggling Tobacco and Cigarette not respond excise tax into Royal Thai Kingdom. 2) compare effectiveness of Prevention and Enforcement of smuggling Tobacco and Cigarette not respond excise tax among respondents ’attitude verified by demographic factors. 3) explain correlation between critical success factors with effectiveness of Prevention and Enforcement of smuggling Tobacco and Cigarette not respond excise tax into Royal Thai Kingdom. This was quantitative research, sample were300 residents of Muang District Songkla Province. Questionaries were data gathering tools, Analytical statistics were percentages standard deviation mean t test ANOVA F and Pearson correlation. Findings were as follows; 1) effectiveness of Prevention and Enforcement of smuggling Tobacco and Cigarette do not respond excise tax into Royal Thai Kingdom were high level. 2) effectiveness of Prevention and Enforcement of smuggling Tobacco and Cigarette not respond excise tax among respondents ’attitude verified by demographic factors were not difference. 3) correlation between critical success factors with effectiveness of Prevention and Enforcement of smuggling Tobacco and Cigarette not respond excise tax was moderate high positive statistical significant at .01level.
