Sustainable Community-Based Ecotourism Management in Nongyaplong District, Phetchaburi Province

Abstract
The objectives of this research are (1) to assess the sustainable community-based ecotourism management in Nongyaplong District, Phetchaburi Province; (2) to explain the relationship between the sustainable community-based ecotourism management in Nongyaplong District, Phetchaburi Province, and the factors affecting the community-based ecotourism management; and (3) to propose guidelines for sustainable community-based ecotourism management in Nongyaplong District, Phetchaburi Province. This study employs a quantitative research approach, with a sample of 400 people from the community in Nongyaplong District, Phetchaburi Province. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using statistics such as percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The research findings are as follows: (1) Regarding sustainable community-based ecotourism management in Nongyaplong District, Phetchaburi Province, it was found to be at a high level; (2) The relationship between sustainable community-based ecotourism management in Nongyaplong District, Phetchaburi Province, and the factors affecting community-based ecotourism management was positively significant at the 0.01 level; (3) The factors affecting community-based ecotourism management can predict the sustainable community-based ecotourism management in Nongyaplong District, Phetchaburi Province, at 81.7%, with the factors that had the greatest predictive power being leadership, planning, participation in evaluation, and participation in decision-making.
