Management of Buddhist Tourism in Temples of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the management of Buddhist tourism in temples in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, (2) explain the relationship between Buddhist tourism management and the factors influencing it, and (3) propose a model for Buddhist tourism management in the province. This study employs a quantitative research approach, using a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. The sample consists of 300 residents of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Data analysis was conducted using statistical methods, including percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings indicate that: (1) overall, the management of Buddhist tourism in the province's temples is at a high level; (2) there is a positive relationship between Buddhist tourism management and the factors influencing it; and (3) the factors influencing Buddhist tourism management can predict cultural tourism management in Hua Baan Community, Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan District, with an accuracy of 46.5%. The key predictive variables include organizational structure, benefit-sharing participation, operational participation, and monitoring and evaluation.
