Abstract

The research purposes were: 1) To create and find efficiency with English learning activities packages for using the theory of communicative language teaching to enhance the ability to listen and speak English for primary grade 4 according to the 80/80 criterion. 2) To experiment and study the results of using communicative language teaching theory activities to enhance the ability to listen and speak English for primary grade 4 (2.1) To compare the listening ability of primary grade 4 taught with English learning activities packages for using communicative language teaching theory to enhance the ability to listen and speak English before and after studying. (2.2) To compare the speaking ability of primary grade 4 taught with English learning activities packages using the communicative language teaching theory to enhance the ability to listen and speak English before and after studying. (2.3) To compare the academic achievement of primary grade 4 taught with English learning activities packages using the communicative language teaching theory to enhance the ability to listen and speak English before and after studying. (2.4) To study the satisfaction of primary grade 4 with an English learning activity-packages using the communicative language teaching theory to enhance the ability to listen and speak English for 4th grade students by used mixed methodologies of quantitative and qualitative research. The results were as follows: 1) Efficiency of the English learning activity packages using communicative language teaching theory to enhance the ability to listen and speak English for 4th-grade students efficiency values were equal to 80.92/ 81.97, which is higher than the specified 80/80 criterion. 2) Comparison results of English listening and speaking ability of primary grade 4 received English learning activities packages using communicative language teaching theory to enhance the ability to listen and speak English after studying higher than before studying Statistically significant at the .05 level. 3) Comparative findings of English learning achievement of primary grade 4 who provided English learning Activities packages using communicative language teaching. It found that students in Grade 4 had academic achievement after studying higher than before studying the statistically significant at the .05 level. 4) Results of the study of satisfaction of primary grade 4 towards learning with English learning Activities packages using communicative language teaching. It found that most students were satisfied. An overall, it was at the highest level (X = 4.40, S.D. = 0.84)
