THE SCIENCE OF RELIGIOUS TREASURE MANAGEMENT FOR THAI SANGHA ADMINISTRATION

Abstract

The objective of this article is to present the protection and maintenance of   religioustreasures of   Buddhist temples. The science of religious treasure management for thai sangha administration as for the management of religious properties or treasures of the monasteries, according to Section 40,  Chapter  6  of  the  Sangha  Act,  B.E.  2505,  the  religious  properties  are classified  into  2  types.  namely  1)  Central  Religious  Properties  2)  Religious Properties of the monastery 3) Classified into 5 types, namely Jetiya places,(Pagoda) Buddha’s places, Sangha places, religious places, and memorials. The manage religious properties to   be    in   order according to   the Buddhist monastic  disciplines for    the benefit of the protection and care of religious treasures in Buddhist temples. As for  the results  of  the  construction  of  monastery  and  the  management  of monastery properties, there are temples that are places for Dhamma practice. There are useful and interesting places of worship. There is a place to practice Dhamma, make merit, do activities related to Buddhism and the community as well as being a place for monks and novices to benefit the public Society can lead to sustainable development of the mind.
