TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN INTERNAL EDUCATIONAL QUALITY ASSURANCE BY ADMINISTRATORS OF SUBDISTRICT QUALITY SCHOOLS UNDER KRABI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE

Abstract

This independent study was aimed to (1) study the administration of total quality management in internal educational quality assurance by administrators of subdistrict quality schools under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office and (2) compare the administrations of total quality management in internal educational quality assurance by administrators of subdistrict quality schools under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office, classified by experience, position and school size.The samples were 258 teachers in subdistrict quality schools under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office. The results of this research were found as follows (1) the teachers’ opinions in both overall and each aspect towards the administration of total quality management in internal educational quality assurance by administrators of subdistrict quality schools under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office were at high level (= 4.49, SD = 0.18). The aspect with the highest average was leadership and holistic quality management, measurement and evaluation, continuous improvement, customer oriented, and employee involvement, respectively.  (2) Teachers with different positions and school sizes had no different opinions on the administration of total quality management in internal educational quality assurance by administrators of subdistrict quality schools studies courses. As for teachers of different experience, their opinions on the administration of total quality management in internal educational quality assurance by administrators of subdistrict quality schools under Krabi Primary Educational Service Area Office were significantly different at .05 level.
