THE DEVELOPMENT COTTON PROCESSING LOCAL WISDOM BASED ON SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY AND CREATIVE ECONOMY IN SAP YAI DISTRICT CHAIYAPHUM PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study and analyze 2) to further develop local wisdom cotton processing products based on sufficiency and creative economy in Sap Yai District, Chaiyaphum Province as shown 3) to study the further development of local wisdom cotton processing products on the basis of sufficiency economy and creative economy in Sap Yai District, Chaiyaphum Province that reflects the value of community identity. The sample group used in this research were community leaders (village headmen, village headman), producers (processing professionals), dealers (processing professionals) and product buyers (tourists, interested) The research results are as follows.The results of the context analysis of cotton processing products, local wisdom, found that local wisdom on cotton processing products. in the community of Sap Yai District that is inherited from ancestors There are 12 steps of cotton production as follows: 1) Picking cotton 2) Picking cotton 3) Picking cotton 4) Teasing cotton 5) Pushing cotton 6) Splicing 7) Dyeing 8) Weaving cotton 9) Weaving looms 10) Weaving looms 11) Stir-frying or spinning straws and 12) Weaving cotton. Results of further development of local wisdom cotton processing products The researcher has designed and developed a total of 48 types of cotton products, separated into clothing. (children's clothing) in the amount of 24 styles and bag products in the amount of 24 styles.
