Abstract

The best way to work in nursing is to treat the patient as a whole person, both physically and mentally, not just physically. The principles for preparing oneself mentally for effective nursing work are as follows: Principle 1: (1) Look at the world with a cheerful attitude. (2) Look at everything as a learning experience. (3) Look at it as a test. When something unpleasant or unpleasant happens, consider it a test that must be passed. 4) See the experience or situation at work as a form of training for oneself. (5) See it in the Bodhisattva way, which means doing the best work possible even at the cost of one's life, striving for the highest goal. And (6) See it in the Arahant way, which means being someone who does not need to do anything for themselves anymore, but can do everything for the patients. The second principle is (1) to love one's work, (2) to have a sense of education, (3) to have right view, (4) to have good friends, (5) to have morals in one's heart, with the four principles of Dhamma: 1. to have loving-kindness, 2. to have compassion, 3. to have mudita, and 4. to have equanimity. This is the maintenance of righteousness and justice, with equanimity controlling the process of keeping all human relationships within the boundaries of Dharma, namely truth, correctness, and goodness.
