THE STUDY OF ERRORS IN USING CHINESE WORDS OF CHINESE MAJOR STUDENTS IN THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION, KAMPHAENG PHET RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The objectives of this research is 1) to study the errors in the use of Chinese vocabulary of the students of the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Education, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, 2) to analyze the causes of the errors in the use of Chinese vocabulary of the students of the Faculty of Education, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University. Chinese language, Faculty of Education, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, and 3) to apply the results of the analysis obtained from the study to be applied in teaching Chinese vocabulary. The population in this research was Chinese language students, Faculty of Education, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University. The samples were 25 students enrolled in the Chinese grammar course. The research tools were Chinese grammar test of students and statistical data were analyzed by percentage. The results showed that Errors in using Chinese vocabulary of Chinese language students, Faculty of Education, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, divided into 3 issues: 1) using wrong choice of words 2) errors in using specific phrases or sentence patterns 3) The type of word chosen is inappropriate. And from the analysis of the data, it was found that the cause of the error in the use of Chinese vocabulary of the students. which consisted of 1) words with similar meanings 2) learners remembering words with only one meaning 3) learners confuse Chinese characters with similarities 4) ability to memorize words 5) environment to learn affecting students' use of Chinese vocabulary
