ADMINISTRATIVE COMPETENCY OF THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 28

Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the administrative competency of the school administrators according to the teachers’ opinions under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 28, and 2) to compare the administrative competency of the school administrators according to the teachers’ opinions under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 28 which classified by school sizes. The samples consisted of 360 teachers operating at school under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 28. The sample size was calculated applying Yamane method and multi-stage random sampling. The instrument was a five-level rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of 0.957. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and One – way ANOVA The research findings were as follows: 1) the administrative competency of the school administrators according to the teachers’ opinions under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 28 both overall and individual aspects were at a high level. 2) The comparison of the administrative competency of the school administrators according to the teachers’ opinions under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 28 which classified by the size of the schools both overall and individual aspects were significantly different at the statistical level of .05
