THE STRATEGIES OF MORALITY PROMOTION FOR SCHOOL TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS UNDER TRANG CITY MUNICIPALITY

Abstract

The objective of this research were to 1) to study the ethical standards of teachers and the problems and obstacles in promoting the morality of teachers and school administrators 2) to study the strategies for promoting the morality of teachers and school administrators in schools under the office of education Trang City Municipality. The sample group consists of 152 teachers and school administrators from schools under the office of education Trang City Municipality was determined by Taro Yamane sample size table. The research instruments used to collect the data were open-form questionnaire and semi-structured interview. The statistics for data analysis were percentages, means, standard deviations, and content analysis through inferential statistics by using software packages and content analysis. The research results were as follows: 1. Teachers and school administrators in schools under the office of education Trang City Municipality indicates that the overall perception towards these strategies is at the highest level. 2. Teachers and school administrators in schools under the office of education Trang City Municipality generally perceive the problems and obstacles in promoting morality among teachers and school administrators in schools under Trang City Municipality to be at a high level. 3. The strategies for promoting morality among teachers and school administrators in schools under the office of Education Trang City Municipality consist of 4 main strategies : Good conduct practice strategy ,Developing good conscience strategy, Utilizing moral principles strategy and Awareness- raising strategy.
