AN ANALYSIS OF BUDDHISM AS A PURE SCIENCE

Abstract

Buddhism is a scientific process derived from understanding the truth of nature that there is no other factors deviating the mind.  This makes the condition of the mind pure. Dhamma teachings in Buddhism is, therefore, characterized as a pure science for example: Niyama 5 or the five aspects of natural law; Anattata that is the attainment of the nature of truth; Paticca-samuppada that is the process of the dependent origination; Dhatu 4 that is the matters as the elements of all creations; impermanency that is the ever changeability of the condition of nature. These indicate that Buddhism has its characteristics as a pure science.
