Abstract

Guidelines for developing Buddhist tour guides to promote tourism in Udon Thani Province to following objectives: 1.To study the development of Buddhist tour guides to promote tourism. 2.To study the development of Buddhist tour guides to promote tourism in Udon Thani Province, and 3.To propose guidelines for the development of Buddhist tour guides to promote tourism in Udon Thani Province. The research findings revealed: 1.Development of Buddhist tour guides to promote tourism: 1) Knowledge of Buddhism and key principles 2) Knowledge of the history of temples 3) Ability to perform as tour guides 4) Language proficiency for communication 5) Problem-solving skills and tourist assistance 2.Development of Buddhist tour guides to promote tourism in Udon Thani Province: 1) Communication of Buddhist knowledge 2) Interest in participating in activities 3) Topics of temple training courses 4) Formats of temple activities 5) Important locations and arrangement of temple activities 6) Number of activity participants and 7) Duration of key temple activities. 3. Guidelines for the development of Buddhist tour guides to promote tourism in Udon Thani Province: Guidelines 1: Developing potential in skills. It was found that the approaches by organizing projects Training of tour guides' operational skills To make the tour guides more quality and organize activities for tour guides To upgrade service skills to meet international standards. and it was impressive. Guideline 2: Development of knowledge potential. It was found that knowledge about tourist attractions, temples History of the temple History of important people of the temple and legends and beliefs, etc. This is because most tourists when traveling to Udon Thani Province want a tour guide to lead them on a religious tour. Faith in Buddhism, the most beauty, and organizing long-term courses for foreign language training. Including other approaches should be used to develop the potential of Buddhist tour guides. Guideline 4: Development of attitude potential. It was found that the development approach is Organize a training project “Communication attitude To increase the efficiency of being a guide” to adjust the perspective of tour guides to be optimistic, smiling, cheerful, and service-minded. cherish national treasure Cultural capital of Udon Thani Province, Guideline 5: Personality potential development. It was found that this development guideline is Organize a personality training project for Excellent service in tourism and enhance the potential of tour guides Starting from dressing politely. Promote local products to strengthen confidence Having good human relations Manners and wit in the work of tour guides
